Your information. Your choice.

Privacy policy.

Last updated:

Joining the Founding List is optional. Your email address is used to send AI Reel Editor launch news, founding-price offers, and related product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

This policy covers the AI Reel Editor landing page and Founding List offered under Startups & AI with Adela. It does not cover video uploads, purchases, or use of a future editing product.

1. Who is responsible

The controller responsible for your personal data is AIVISE SRL, operating as Startups & AI with Adela, at Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@ai-vise.com.

2. Information collected

The waitlist form does not request payment details or video files. Providing your email is voluntary, but it is needed to receive waitlist emails.

3. Why information is used

Your email address is used to manage your subscription and send the launch and product updates you requested. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis for these marketing emails is your consent.

Information needed to respond to requests, maintain delivery, and prevent abuse is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in operating a secure service and communicating with you. Records may also be retained where necessary to meet legal obligations.

Your information is not used for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Service providers and sharing

Kit is the email service provider used for the Founding List through the embedded signup form. It processes subscriber information to manage the list and deliver emails on our behalf. Hosting providers process the technical information needed to serve the website and its media.

Personal information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell the Founding List.

For details about Kit’s role and processing terms, see its Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.

5. International processing

Kit and its service providers may process data in the United States and other countries outside your country of residence. Where required, transfers must be covered by an applicable adequacy decision or contractual safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Kit describes its transfer mechanisms in its Data Processing Addendum.

You can contact us to ask about the safeguards applicable to your information and how to obtain a copy.

6. Cookies, videos, and email tracking

The signup form loads a third-party script from Kit. Loading and using this form sends technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, to Kit and may involve cookies or similar technologies for form functionality, measurement, or spam prevention. The form is configured to use reCAPTCHA for spam protection. The website’s videos are hosted as website files rather than embedded from social platforms; your browser requests these files from the website host when loading previews or playing videos.

Email services can record deliveries, bounces, and unsubscribes. Depending on the email configuration, Kit can also measure opens and link clicks. Any use of optional tracking will be explained, and consent obtained where required, before it is enabled.

7. How long information is kept

Subscriber information is kept while needed to provide the updates you requested. If the list is discontinued or the information is no longer needed, it will be deleted or anonymized, unless a legal reason requires retention.

After you unsubscribe, a limited suppression record may be kept to prevent further marketing emails. Consent records and correspondence may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to demonstrate compliance, handle requests, or resolve disputes. Retention depends on the purpose of the record and applicable legal requirements.

8. Your choices and rights

Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email to stop receiving updates, or contact us using the privacy contact above. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place lawfully before withdrawal.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a portable copy. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and object to direct marketing at any time. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

If you are in the EEA, you may complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred. See the European Commission’s information about your data protection rights.

9. Changes to this policy

This page will be updated if our data practices change. The date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated where required, and new consent requested when necessary.
